This exciting outdoor event is close to major attractions including the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, the Philadelphia Zoo, Fairmount Park, Please Touch Museum, and Boathouse Row — making it the perfect summer destination for visitors and vendors alike.

Registration is now open! Members: $50 | Non-Members: $125 (table and chairs not included). This year’s recipient, Michelle Knight, is being recognized for outstanding contributions to literary and artistic excellence in children’s literature. The award honors individuals whose work demonstrates creativity, innovation, and a lasting impact on literacy and young readers.

The Jerry Craft Awards for Literary and Artistic Excellence includes a $500 cash award in recognition of exceptional achievement and dedication to the field.

    Now Open: Jerry Craft Awards for Literary and Artistic Excellence

    Literacy Nation is pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the Jerry Craft Awards for Literary and Artistic Excellence. These awards honor outstanding works that exemplify excellence in storytelling, creativity, and impact in children’s and young adult literature.

    Eligible authors and illustrators are invited to submit works in accordance with the award guidelines. Submissions will be reviewed with careful attention to both literary merit and artistic achievement, as appropriate to each award category.

    Please review all eligibility requirements before submitting. We look forward to celebrating exceptional contributions to literacy and the arts.
