Charge for the Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for identifying and pursuing various funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donations, to support Literacy Nation’s initiatives. This committee will oversee the launch and execution of fundraising campaigns designed to secure financial support for key programs, including the Future ICON Awards, free programming for youth, and free events that promote literacy and creative expression. The committee will work closely with the Executive Board to ensure that all fundraising efforts align with Literacy Nation’s broader goal of building revenue and supporting the sustainability and growth of the organization.
The committee will meet monthly to review fundraising strategies, assess ongoing campaigns, evaluate new funding opportunities, and discuss donor relations. Regular meetings will help ensure alignment with Literacy Nation’s financial goals and streamline the committee’s efforts to secure the resources needed for key programs.
The committee will provide regular updates to the Executive Board on the status of fundraising efforts, progress on grant applications, and outcomes of charitable initiatives. These updates will ensure alignment with Literacy Nation’s overall strategic goals and help refine fundraising approaches for future growth.
