The Literacy Nation Indie Author Book Fair is designed to highlight and support independent authors and their individual work while also welcoming vendors who offer products that complement a literary and community-focused event.

To ensure fairness, clarity, and a positive experience for all participants, the following policies apply to all authors and vendors.

This event is an Indie Author Book Fair. Each author table is reserved for one author and that author’s published works only.

To ensure equal opportunity for all participating authors:

• Only one author is permitted per table.
• Authors may sell only their own books.
• The sale or promotion of books written by multiple authors from a single table is not permitted.
• Participants may not act as a distributor, reseller, or representative selling books for other authors.

These guidelines help ensure that every author has a fair opportunity to showcase and promote their work.

A limited number of vendor spaces are available for businesses offering non-book merchandise that complements a literary, educational, or community-centered event.

Vendors may sell items such as:

• Book accessories
• Literary-themed merchandise
• Educational products
• Art, crafts, or related items

Vendor tables are intended for non-book merchandise only.

Vendors may not sell books unless they are the author of those books and are registered as an author participant.

• Each participant is responsible for bringing their own 6-foot table and chairs.
• Setup begins at 9:00 AM on the day of the event.
• Participants must operate within their assigned table space.

The goal of the Literacy Nation Indie Author Book Fair is to create a space where independent authors can connect directly with readers and the community.
